The future of lightning-fast reliable broadband.

FTTP is the all-fibre broadband connection that delivers high bandwidth speeds of up to 1Gbps to the customer’s premises, making it the fastest and most reliable broadband product on the market.

The race to full fibre connectivity is already underway as Openreach and other FTTP providers expand the UK’s coverage network. The current Openreach coverage for FTTP is approximately 11 million premises and Openreach has announced over 460 exchanges for the rollout, as well as stopping the sale of copper-based products.

With in-depth knowledge, industry engagement and experience in FTTP and Single Order broadband, you can benefit from Templar Tech’s expert advice and guidance as you future-proof your portfolio and support your customers in their digital transformation.

Key features & benefits

  • Full fibre cable from the exchange to the premises

  • Up to 1Gbps Bandwidth

  • Easy to overlay additional IP services such as VoIP

  • Future-proof broadband solution enabling business transformation through reliable, fast connectivity

  • Single Order product with no WLR or dual orders required - preparing you for the 2025 PSTN withdrawal

  • Perfect for remote working, offering low latency meaning no more slowdowns

Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP)

Single Order Connectivity: a smarter and faster broadband solution.

By December 2025, PSTN and ISDN services will be switched off in the biggest change to telecommunications in 30 years. This means that connectivity will no longer be supported by traditional copper telephone lines. The future is data-only Single Order broadband such as Single Order Generic Ethernet Access (SOGEA).

SOGEA takes advantage of existing copper and fibre technology, without requiring a phone line, to create an ideal combination of speed and price for both residential and business users.

If your customers are unable to get FTTP at their premises, SOGEA is the perfect solution to transition to in preparation for the 2025 switch off.

Key features and benefits

  • Future-proof connectivity to prepare your customers for the PSTN withdrawal

  • Available to 28 million UK premises

  • Easy migration journeys with less than 5 minutes of downtime

  • Simple to sell and simple to support

  • Intuitive portal for ordering and managing connections

SOGEA

Ethernet Solutions

Guaranteed performance and speeds with symmetrical bandwidth.

Ethernet solutions from Templar Tech are Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) products. DIA connections are designated entirely to one business, meaning the connection is always on and never shared. This is ideal for businesses of any size that are reliant on stable and predictable speeds, whether using cloud-based applications, streaming video, transferring large files or performing other business-critical tasks.

We offer the flexibility of managed Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) — the hardware devices and systems at a customer's location that are used to access the services — or a wires-only service. Ethernet Point-to-Point is also available for linking two customer premises.

Dedicated Internet Access Ethernet – Managed Solution

For partners who don’t wish to manage their own hardware, our Managed Solution offers a number of benefits to customers:

  • High availability

  • Fully managed CPE

  • Guaranteed SLAs

  • Monitoring

Dedicated Internet Access Ethernet – Wires Only

Partners wishing to source and manage their own hardware and provide their own monitoring, support and package bundles can now choose Wires Only Ethernet. You will benefit from our lowest-ever pricing and a choice of the UK’s leading carriers.

Develop long-term customer value by providing your own first-class support and service wrap, allowing you to:

  • Source, configure, install and support your own hardware/CPE

  • Provide your own monitoring and backup services

  • Win business from customers who have already invested in equipment or have a router they wish to use

CityFibre Ethernet

Dedicated Full Fibre Ethernet and Fibre Flex in partnership with CityFibre.

Having spent the last few years rolling out its fibre-only network in towns and cities where other major providers are less prominent, CityFibre is now offering its reliable and cost-efficient products more broadly. Through our partnership, you can choose to provide your customers with its Dedicated Full Fibre Ethernet or shared fibre service, Fibre Flex.

Key features and benefits of CityFibre

Independent network infrastructure

Carrier-class, resilient ring-based architecture that is completely separate from other network providers such as Openreach, Virgin Business and Colt.

Highly competitive

Enabling Templar Tech clients to differentiate their service offerings.

Available in 29 towns and cities

Delivering fantastic value products where other major providers are less prominent.

Self-service portal capabilities

Templar Tech through its partner connections with CityFibre network enables us to quote, order and service those products with the same wires-only, managed and monitoring services that are available on all our Dedicated Internet Access Ethernet products.

Built-in smart capabilities

A network designed from scratch to service the digital age, CityFibre continue to invest in its network and software platforms, making it readily upgradable to 100Gb and beyond.

Dedicated Full Fibre Ethernet

CityFibre’s dedicated full fibre Ethernet offers 100Mb or 1Gb bandwidth options and a dedicated fibre tail from the local POP to the customer’s premises.

Fibre Flex

Fibre Flex is an ultra-competitive and innovative product that provides symmetrical bandwidth and a guaranteed 200 Mbps service. However, customers can use up to 1 Gbps at no extra cost when possible. Unlike Dedicated Full Fibre Ethernet, Fibre Flex uses a shared fibre connection shared among a small number of customers at the end of the network.

CityFibre’s Network

Aberdeen, Bracknell, Bradford, Bristol, Cambridge, Cheltenham, Coventry, Derby, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Gloucester, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Maidenhead, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Nottingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Reading, Rotherham, Sheffield, Slough, Southend, Swindon and Wakefield.

Legacy Broadband Solutions

Connect with confidence — high-quality, cost-efficient broadband for your business and customers.

Broadband enables customers to connect to the internet via fixed line infrastructure. It is always-on, offering a reliable, high-quality and cost-efficient service. Being an asynchronous service, download is greater than upload speed.

We offer a range of broadband solutions suitable for businesses of every shape and size, including a full suite of Fibre Broadband products to prepare you for the 2025 PSTN and ISDN Switch Off, and legacy copper-based solutions.

Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC)

With FTTC, Broadband is delivered using fibre optic cable to the green roadside cabinet and then connected to the customer's premises using traditional copper telephone lines. FTTC delivers faster speeds and more reliable connections than traditional copper-based broadband, while also being quicker and more cost-effective to install than FTTP.

G.Fast

A faster form of FTTC, G.Fast is a more cost-effective alternative to FTTP, delivering fast and reliable broadband connections using fibre to the green roadside cabinet and then a short copper line to the premises. G.Fast can be deployed much more quickly than FTTP solutions, as it does not require the installation of new fibre optic cables to every customer location.

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Broadband

ADSL provides high-speed internet through traditional copper telephone lines between the exchange and the customer’s premises.

Where available, we recommend that partners offer Single Order solutions such as FTTP or SOGEA over copper-based technology, enabling them to future-proof their customers and offer a faster, more reliable service.

SD-WAN

Transform your customers' network performance with our SD-WAN solutions.

SD-WAN allows your customers to connect to one network across multiple sites, improving the efficiency and agility of their business.

Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN)

SD-WAN helps companies improve the management, performance and security of their wide area networks (WANs), large networks that connect smaller networks in different locations to provide communication and data exchange.

SD-WAN is a new and improved way of connecting different locations, replacing old technology with better features. It offers dynamic path selection, improved management, simple setup and VPN options. Using SD-WAN can save money on equipment and operating costs, make setting up faster, and enhance branch uptime.
